Return 復 Fù
Leela Atlas team · Updated
The light comes back; welcome a fresh start gently and naturally.
Trigrams: Earth over Thunder
The judgement
After the darkest point, the light returns. Coming and going are unhindered, friends arrive, and the natural cycle brings renewal in its own time.
The image
Thunder stirs deep within the earth at the winter solstice. The ancient kings closed the passes and rested, letting the new life gather quietly.
Light side
A turning point has come; small, gentle steps back toward yourself are enough.
Shadow side
Rushing the return can exhaust the fragile new beginning.
Drawing Return in a game of Leela
In Leela Atlas you can draw a card from the I Ching when you land on a square. A bridging question links the card to the square, so the card speaks to your own question:
- What are you returning to, and how can you let it grow gently?
- What does "Return" show you about your square?
- If "Return" were advice for your question, what would it say?
- Where do you meet "Return" in your life right now?
