Innocence 無妄 Wú Wàng

Act sincerely, without hidden motives, and trust the natural course.

Trigrams: Heaven over Thunder

The judgement

Innocence, acting without hidden motive, brings great success. But if you stray from what is right, trouble follows, and nothing pushed will prosper.

The image

Thunder rolls under heaven, and all things move in their natural innocence. The ancient kings nourished every being in harmony with the seasons.

Light side

Acting from a clear, unforced heart lets life meet you halfway.

Shadow side

Calculating or scheming spoils the very spontaneity that would serve you.

Drawing Innocence in a game of Leela

In Leela Atlas you can draw a card from the I Ching when you land on a square. A bridging question links the card to the square, so the card speaks to your own question:

• What would you do here if you had no hidden agenda at all?
• What does "Innocence" show you about your square?
• If "Innocence" were advice for your question, what would it say?
• Where do you meet "Innocence" in your life right now?
