Holding Together 比 Bǐ
Leela Atlas team · Updated
Draw close to people who share your path; unity brings strength.
Trigrams: Water over Earth
The judgement
Holding together brings good fortune. Look honestly at whether you have the steadiness to be a centre for others; those who hesitate too long miss the moment.
The image
Water rests on the earth and fills every hollow. The ancient kings founded their realms and kept close, warm ties with all who belonged.
Light side
Joining the right people now can give you a sense of belonging and shared strength.
Shadow side
Waiting too long to commit can leave you standing outside the circle.
Drawing Holding Together in a game of Leela
In Leela Atlas you can draw a card from the I Ching when you land on a square. A bridging question links the card to the square, so the card speaks to your own question:
- To whom or to what do you truly want to belong in this matter?
- What does "Holding Together" show you about your square?
- If "Holding Together" were advice for your question, what would it say?
- Where do you meet "Holding Together" in your life right now?
