The Star (XVII)

Hope and quiet healing.

The image

A naked woman kneels by a pool under one great star and seven smaller ones, pouring water from two jugs, one into the pool and one onto the land; a bird sits in a tree behind her.

Keywords: hope, renewal, trust

Light side

After a hard time, quiet hope returns. You can be open, unguarded and generous again, letting yourself be renewed.

Shadow side

Hope can stay in the sky as a pleasant dream. Healing also asks for small, concrete steps on the ground.

Drawing The Star in a game of Leela

In Leela Atlas you can draw a card from the Classic Tarot when you land on a square. A bridging question links the card to the square, so the card speaks to your own question:

• What gives you a quiet sense of hope in this question, even if it is small?
• What does "The Star" show you about your square?
• If "The Star" were advice for your question, what would it say?
• Where do you meet "The Star" in your life right now?
