Nine of Wands
Leela Atlas team · Updated
Weary, yet still on guard.
The image
A tired man with a bandaged head grips a wand and glances warily sideways, standing before a row of eight upright wands like a fence.
Keywords: resilience, persistence, boundaries
Light side
You have come a long way and still stand. Your experience gives you strength and the wisdom to protect what matters.
Shadow side
Old wounds can make you suspicious of everything. Guarding the fence forever leaves no room to rest or to let anyone in.
Drawing Nine of Wands in a game of Leela
In Leela Atlas you can draw a card from the Classic Tarot when you land on a square. A bridging question links the card to the square, so the card speaks to your own question:
- What old wound is shaping how you guard yourself in this question?
- What does "Nine of Wands" show you about your square?
- If "Nine of Wands" were advice for your question, what would it say?
- Where do you meet "Nine of Wands" in your life right now?
