Eight of Wands
Leela Atlas team · Updated
Swift movement and news.
The image
Eight leafy wands fly diagonally through a clear sky over a river and green hills, with no person in the picture.
Keywords: speed, momentum, news
Light side
Things are moving and the way is clear. Momentum lets you act quickly and let messages and energy flow.
Shadow side
Speed can turn into haste: reacting before thinking. When everything flies, it is easy to lose sight of where it should land.
Drawing Eight of Wands in a game of Leela
In Leela Atlas you can draw a card from the Classic Tarot when you land on a square. A bridging question links the card to the square, so the card speaks to your own question:
- What in your question is ready to move fast, and what needs more time?
- What does "Eight of Wands" show you about your square?
- If "Eight of Wands" were advice for your question, what would it say?
- Where do you meet "Eight of Wands" in your life right now?
