King of Wands

Leadership with vision.

The image

A king in red and green sits on a throne decorated with lions and salamanders, holding a sprouting wand, a small salamander at his feet.

Keywords: vision, leadership, boldness

Light side

You can see the bigger picture and lead others toward it. Vision combined with responsibility turns inspiration into direction.

Shadow side

Leadership can become impatience with others or the need to always be in charge. Big visions can ignore the details people live in.

Drawing King of Wands in a game of Leela

In Leela Atlas you can draw a card from the Classic Tarot when you land on a square. A bridging question links the card to the square, so the card speaks to your own question:

• What is your larger vision behind this question, and who needs to share it with you?
• What does "King of Wands" show you about your square?
• If "King of Wands" were advice for your question, what would it say?
• Where do you meet "King of Wands" in your life right now?
