Ace of Cups

The heart opens.

The image

A hand from a cloud holds a golden cup overflowing with five streams of water into a lily pond, while a dove descends to place a wafer into the cup.

Keywords: love, openness, emotional renewal

Light side

Your heart can open to love, compassion and new feeling. What flows in can also flow out to others without running dry.

Shadow side

Feelings can be held back for fear of being hurt, or poured out with no boundaries. An overflowing cup also needs a steady hand.

Drawing Ace of Cups in a game of Leela

In Leela Atlas you can draw a card from the Classic Tarot when you land on a square. A bridging question links the card to the square, so the card speaks to your own question:

• What would change if you let your heart be more open in this question?
• What does "Ace of Cups" show you about your square?
• If "Ace of Cups" were advice for your question, what would it say?
• Where do you meet "Ace of Cups" in your life right now?
