Grace 賁 Bì
Leela Atlas team · Updated
Beauty adorns life, yet let substance matter more than form.
Trigrams: Mountain over Fire
The judgement
Grace brings success, but only in small matters. Beauty and form adorn life without replacing its substance.
The image
Fire glows at the foot of the mountain, lighting its slopes. The noble one brings clarity to everyday matters but does not settle grave issues by appearance alone.
Light side
Care for form and beauty can make what you offer more welcoming.
Shadow side
Polishing the surface can hide the fact that the core is not yet ready.
Drawing Grace in a game of Leela
In Leela Atlas you can draw a card from the I Ching when you land on a square. A bridging question links the card to the square, so the card speaks to your own question:
- In your question, what is surface and what is substance?
- What does "Grace" show you about your square?
- If "Grace" were advice for your question, what would it say?
- Where do you meet "Grace" in your life right now?
