Gathering Together 萃 Cuì
Leela Atlas team · Updated
People come together around a shared purpose; nurture that bond.
Trigrams: Lake over Earth
The judgement
Gathering together brings success. It is good to have a centre, to honour what is sacred, to seek wise leadership and to undertake something together.
The image
A lake gathers above the earth, and gathered waters can overflow. The noble one keeps their tools ready to meet the unexpected.
Light side
A shared purpose can bring people together and multiply their strength.
Shadow side
Where many gather, conflict and surprises also gather; ignoring that invites trouble.
Drawing Gathering Together in a game of Leela
In Leela Atlas you can draw a card from the I Ching when you land on a square. A bridging question links the card to the square, so the card speaks to your own question:
- What gathers you and others together around this question?
- What does "Gathering Together" show you about your square?
- If "Gathering Together" were advice for your question, what would it say?
- Where do you meet "Gathering Together" in your life right now?
