Good things draw near; meet them with care and kindness.
Trigrams: Earth over Lake
The judgement
Approach brings supreme success, and perseverance furthers. Yet every season turns: what is rising now will one day decline.
The image
The earth stands close above the lake. The noble one is tireless in teaching and boundless in care and protection for others.
Light side
Something good is drawing near; meet it warmly and you strengthen it.
Shadow side
Forgetting that good times pass can leave you unprepared when they shift.
Drawing Approach in a game of Leela
In Leela Atlas you can draw a card from the I Ching when you land on a square. A bridging question links the card to the square, so the card speaks to your own question:
- What is approaching you now, and how do you want to meet it?
- What does "Approach" show you about your square?
- If "Approach" were advice for your question, what would it say?
- Where do you meet "Approach" in your life right now?
