Wheel of Fortune (X)

Everything turns, and you are on the wheel.

The image

A great orange wheel marked with letters and alchemical signs turns in the clouds; a sphinx sits on top, a snake slides down one side, a jackal headed figure rises on the other, and four winged creatures read books in the corners.

Keywords: cycles, change, turning point

Light side

Nothing stays fixed, and that is also good news. Seeing the larger cycle helps you move with change rather than against it.

Shadow side

It is tempting to say it is all luck and give up your part. You cannot steer the wheel, but you choose how you ride it.

Drawing Wheel of Fortune in a game of Leela

In Leela Atlas you can draw a card from the Classic Tarot when you land on a square. A bridging question links the card to the square, so the card speaks to your own question:

• Which part of this situation is out of your hands, and which part is still yours to choose?
• What does "Wheel of Fortune" show you about your square?
• If "Wheel of Fortune" were advice for your question, what would it say?
• Where do you meet "Wheel of Fortune" in your life right now?
