Three of Wands

Waiting for the ships: expansion.

The image

A man seen from behind stands on a hilltop among three planted wands, watching ships sail across a golden sea toward distant mountains.

Keywords: expansion, foresight, progress

Light side

What you started is under way. You can enjoy the wider horizon and trust that your efforts are travelling toward you.

Shadow side

Waiting can become passive watching. Impatience for the ships to arrive can also make you miss what you could do meanwhile.

Drawing Three of Wands in a game of Leela

In Leela Atlas you can draw a card from the Classic Tarot when you land on a square. A bridging question links the card to the square, so the card speaks to your own question:

• What have you already set in motion that you can trust a little more?
• What does "Three of Wands" show you about your square?
• If "Three of Wands" were advice for your question, what would it say?
• Where do you meet "Three of Wands" in your life right now?
