The Empress (III)

What grows asks for care.

The image

A crowned woman rests on cushions in a ripe wheat field, her gown patterned with pomegranates, a Venus sign on her heart shaped shield, a forest and waterfall behind her.

Keywords: abundance, nurture, creativity

Light side

Life wants to grow through you. Patience, pleasure and care for the body let ideas, projects and relationships ripen in their own time.

Shadow side

Care can become smothering, or comfort can turn into stagnation. Giving endlessly to others while your own field lies untended is also a trap.

Drawing The Empress in a game of Leela

In Leela Atlas you can draw a card from the Classic Tarot when you land on a square. A bridging question links the card to the square, so the card speaks to your own question:

• What in this situation needs nourishing rather than pushing?
• What does "The Empress" show you about your square?
• If "The Empress" were advice for your question, what would it say?
• Where do you meet "The Empress" in your life right now?
