The Creative 乾 Qián

Steady, tireless effort aligned with what is right opens every door.

Trigrams: Heaven over Heaven

The judgement

Great creative force is at work and can carry things through, as long as you keep steadily to what is right.

The image

Heaven turns without pause, strong and tireless. In the same way the noble one keeps strengthening themselves and never lets their effort go slack.

Light side

You have real energy now to begin and lead something that matters to you.

Shadow side

Strength without rest or humility turns into pushing, and pushing exhausts both you and others.

Drawing The Creative in a game of Leela

In Leela Atlas you can draw a card from the I Ching when you land on a square. A bridging question links the card to the square, so the card speaks to your own question:

• Where in your question are you called to act steadily, rather than forcefully?
• What does "The Creative" show you about your square?
• If "The Creative" were advice for your question, what would it say?
• Where do you meet "The Creative" in your life right now?
