Increase 益 Yì

A time of growth; share your gains and act while the wind is fair.

Trigrams: Wind over Thunder

The judgement

Increase furthers every undertaking. Now it is possible to begin something new and even make the great crossing.

The image

Wind and thunder strengthen each other. The noble one, seeing good, follows it; seeing their own faults, lets them go.

Light side

This is a time when giving and growing feed each other generously.

Shadow side

Increase used only for yourself does not last.

Drawing Increase in a game of Leela

In Leela Atlas you can draw a card from the I Ching when you land on a square. A bridging question links the card to the square, so the card speaks to your own question:

• What good could you imitate, and what fault could you release, right now?
• What does "Increase" show you about your square?
• If "Increase" were advice for your question, what would it say?
• Where do you meet "Increase" in your life right now?
