Great Possession 大有 Dà Yǒu

Abundance is yours; hold it with modesty and use it well.

Trigrams: Fire over Heaven

The judgement

Great possession brings supreme success. Abundance is in your hands, and it flourishes when held with clarity and modesty.

The image

Fire shines high in heaven and lights up everything. The noble one holds back what is harmful, furthers what is good, and follows the will of heaven.

Light side

You have more resources than you may realise; used generously, they multiply.

Shadow side

Abundance can breed pride, and pride quietly loses what it holds.

Drawing Great Possession in a game of Leela

In Leela Atlas you can draw a card from the I Ching when you land on a square. A bridging question links the card to the square, so the card speaks to your own question:

• What abundance do you already have that could serve your question?
• What does "Great Possession" show you about your square?
• If "Great Possession" were advice for your question, what would it say?
• Where do you meet "Great Possession" in your life right now?
